The Metropolitan Municipality continues the DİŞTI Solar Power Plant Project to disseminate renewable energy sources that do not harm nature. The project will meet the electricity demand of the bus terminal.
Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department continues to carry out the Project of Solar Energy Power Plants (GES), which is set up in Diyarbakır Intercity Terminal Operations (DİŞTİ) parking lot to increase renewable energy sources. Within the scope of the GES project, 3,200 panels will be used in the field of DISTRIBUTION. While the project is targeted with an average monthly energy consumption of 670 KW and 900 MW per year, with the completion of the project, the average monthly electricity bill of 80 thousand TL will be met from the power plant.
Karacadağ Development Agency, grant of 635 thousand 849 TL grant, 3 million 940 thousand pounds of the project, 2017 is expected to complete in the first month of the year.
Metropolitan Municipality, previously in Sümerpark and Gözeli Basin, two separate solar power plants started to produce renewable energy.
