13,650 residents receive TL 40.95 million in social support
Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality has paid TL 3,000 into the SODES Cards of 13,650 residents as part of its September social support payments. The payments, aimed at helping residents meet their essential needs, totalled TL 40 million 950 thousand.
Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality continues to provide support to residents facing financial difficulties as part of its community-focused approach to social local government. Under the programme run by the Department of Social Services, September payments were made to residents who hold SODES Cards.
TL 3,000 paid into each SODES Card
As part of the September social support payments, TL 3,000 was loaded onto the SODES Card of each of 13,650 residents. This brought the total value of social support provided to residents in September to TL 40 million 950 thousand.
The SODES Card scheme aims to help residents facing financial difficulties meet their essential needs and strengthen social support mechanisms.
Can be used for shopping at supermarkets
The support funds loaded onto SODES Cards can be used to purchase essential goods at supermarkets equipped with POS terminals. The card system allows residents to use the support according to their own priorities and needs.
Social support programmes to continue
Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality will continue its social support programmes across the city to strengthen social solidarity and contribute to improving the living conditions of residents facing financial difficulties.
