Kyrgyz Republic Ambassador to Ankara Ruslan Kazakbaev and his accompanying delegation visited Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Serra Bucak. The meeting, held at the Metropolitan Municipality building, was also attended by DBB Assembly Co-Spokespersons Demet Ceylan and Ayhan Karatekin.

Cooperation Between Local Authorities Discussed

The meeting focused on potential opportunities for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Diyarbakır in the social and cultural fields and at the local government level.

Speaking at the meeting, Ambassador Kazakbaev highlighted Diyarbakır’s rich historical and cultural heritage and expressed his pleasure at being in the city and at the hospitality extended to the delegation.

Co-Mayor Bucak also expressed her pleasure at the visit, speaking about local services and cultural initiatives being carried out in the city and thanking the delegation for their visit.
