Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Serra Bucak attended the introduction programme organised by Zurich Municipality, which presented the city’s transport, smart urbanism and solid waste disposal systems.

Co-Mayor Bucak took part in the programme held by the Zurich Municipality between 4–7 February, where the transport, smart city applications and solid waste disposal systems of the Canton of Zurich were introduced.

Visit to Solid Waste Sorting Centre

On the first day of the programme, Co-Mayor Bucak visited the Zurich Municipality Solid Waste Sorting Centre. Officials at the centre gave a presentation on how the waste collection and sorting system operates.

Co-Mayor Bucak was accompanied during the programme by İbrahim Yalçın, Head of the Department of Environmental Protection and Control; Berçim Güzel, Head of the Department of Information Technology; and members of the council.
