Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors, Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun, met with delegations from abroad, as well as representatives of political parties and civil society organisations, who came to attend the Newroz celebrations.

The Metropolitan Municipality organised a dinner programme for the international delegations and representatives of political parties and civil society organisations attending the Newroz celebration held in Bağcılar Neighbourhood of Bağlar district. The Newroz dinner, hosted at a hotel in Sur district, was attended by Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun, together with Tülay Hatimoğulları, Co-Chair of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar, Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), as well as delegations from abroad.

The Co-Mayors conversed with the guests and thanked them for their participation in the dinner programme.
