Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Serra Bucak took part in a march in Lice against the suspicious deaths of women and children.

Co-Mayor Bucak joined the march organised in the district of Lice under the leadership of the Dicle Amed Women’s Platform (DAKAP) in response to the increasing number of suspicious deaths of women and children. Alongside Co-Mayor Bucak, district municipality co-mayors and women politicians from the DEM Party also participated.

During the march, a banner reading “Take your dirty hands off women and children” was carried, along with photographs of murdered women.

In the statement, attention was drawn to the fact that hundreds of women had been killed under the guise of suicide, and it was emphasised that these murders would not be met with silence.
