Co-Mayor Serra Bucak of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality joined a march organised as part of activities marking 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The march, organised by women’s organisations, was attended by Co-Mayor Bucak alongside MPs, DBB Council Co-Spokesperson Demet Ceylan and council members, co-mayors of district municipalities, representatives of political parties, and many participants from women’s organisations.

As part of the event, women gathered in front of the former E-Type Closed Prison in Bağlar district. The march then proceeded to the front of AZC Plaza in the Ofis area. Along the route, participants chanted slogans and shared messages of solidarity to draw attention to violence against women.

The march ended after speeches delivered in front of AZC Plaza.
