Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Doğan Hatun attended the “Mayors’ Summit” held in the city of Barcelona, Spain, within the framework of the 6th UCLG Culture Summit.

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Doğan Hatun attended the “Mayors’ Summit” organised within the framework of the 6th Culture Summit of the United Cities and Local Governments World Organisation (UCLG). Alongside Co-Mayor Hatun, Sur Municipality Co-Mayor Fatma Gulan Önkol, Bağlar Municipality Co-Mayor Siraç Çelik, and mayors from many countries took part in the summit, where the following call was made to countries concerning cultural rights: “Access to culture and active participation in culture are human rights. There can be no sustainable development without a Culture Goal.”
