Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun of the Metropolitan Municipality held an online meeting with Nathalie Appéré, Mayor of Rennes, France, and Flavie Boukhenoufa, Deputy Mayor of Rennes responsible for International Relations. During the one-hour meeting, it was agreed to strengthen the historical ties and diplomatic cooperation between Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and Rennes Municipality.

At the meeting, ecological projects such as waste separation were also discussed, and requests were expressed to carry out joint projects.
