Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Serra Bucak continues her contacts in Germany within the scope of the CEMR Political Committee Meeting.

As part of this, Co-Mayor Bucak visited the Waste Management Centre operated by Cologne Municipality.

At the centre, which organises both city cleaning and the collection and separation of waste, as well as the generation of energy from waste, Bucak carried out inspections. She was accompanied by the centre’s director, Didem Getz, who explained Cologne’s waste management process.

Following her inspections, Bucak exchanged views with the centre’s managers on possible cooperation between Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and Cologne Municipality.
