Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Serra Bucak attended the Christmas mass held at the Virgin Mary Church.

Co-Mayor Bucak took part in the service organised at the Virgin Mary Church, located in Sur and belonging to the Syriac Orthodox community, on the occasion of Christmas.

Alongside Co-Mayor Bucak, Sur Municipality Co-Mayor Fatma Gulan Önkol and local residents also attended the mass.

The service was led by Priest Gabriel Akyüz, who wished for the New Year to bring freedom, peace and health.

After the mass, Co-Mayor Bucak and her accompanying delegation visited the Diyarbakır Promotion, Culture and Solidarity Foundation (DİTAV), located near the church.
