Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun welcomed residents at the Resident Solutions Desk and at the DBB Council’s Public Relations Commission office, where they listened to residents’ suggestions and requests.
The Co-Mayors met residents at the Resident Solutions Desk—operating under the Department of Press, Media and Public Relations to ensure the public’s concerns are addressed quickly and effectively—as well as at the DBB Council’s Public Relations Commission office. During the meetings, residents had the opportunity to convey their issues and requests directly to the Co-Mayors.
Co-Mayors took notes of requests
Listening to residents one by one, the Co-Mayors took notes of suggestions, complaints and requests throughout the meetings. Speaking with residents, they provided information on the process for resolving the issues raised and ensured coordination with the relevant departments and units.
Units assigned to deliver solutions
Assigning the relevant units to address the requests, the Co-Mayors held solution-focused exchanges with residents, particularly on social assistance, transport and job applications. They stated that they take all issues raised seriously and would do everything possible to resolve them.
