Doğan Hatun, Co-Mayor of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, attended a commemoration programme held on the anniversary of the Halabja massacre.

A commemoration programme was organised at the Çand Amed Culture and Congress Centre by the Amed Platform of Democratic Institutions to mark the anniversary of the Halabja massacre carried out on 16 March 1988. In addition to Doğan Hatun, Co-Mayor of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, the programme was attended by co-mayors of district municipalities, MPs, members of the DBB Council, and representatives of political parties and civil society organisations.

The programme began with a screening about the Halabja massacre and concluded with a dengbêj performance following the speeches.
