Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun hosted members of Koma Agirê Jiyan.

The group’s members, Meral Tekçi, Ali Geçimli, Şener Yıldız and Amed Tabar, visited the Co-Mayors ahead of their concert at the Newroz celebrations to be held in Diyarbakır on 21 March.

Following the welcome, the Co-Mayors and the group members held a meeting, during which they exchanged views on cultural and artistic work.

Expressing their excitement about performing in Diyarbakır again after a long break, the group members said: “After such a long time, we have returned home, and we are very excited.”

The Co-Mayors thanked the members of Koma Agirê Jiyan and said they were pleased by the visit.

After the meeting, the group performed the song “Rehşan”.

The Co-Mayors were accompanied during the visit by DBB Council Co-Spokesperson Ayhan Karatekin, Deputy Secretary General Muhabbet Erdoğmuş and council members.
