DİSMEK to open 15 new courses

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality aims to help residents develop their vocational skills and strengthen their participation in employment through 15 new courses launched under DİSMEK. Applications for the wide-ranging training programmes will remain open until 17 May.

Run under the coordination of the Department of Social Services, DİSMEK (Diyarbakır Art and Vocational Training Courses) is once again opening its doors to residents who wish to receive training in different fields. A limited number of trainees will be admitted to the courses, which will be delivered by expert instructors.

Last application date: 17 May

Residents who wish to benefit from the courses can submit their applications until 17 May. Detailed information on the application process and the training programmes is available at dismek.diyarbakir.bel.tr.

Training to be offered in 15 different branches

The new courses will cover a broad range of fields, including wooden toy making, amigurumi, bağlama and voice training, skincare, tile decoration, handicrafts, e-commerce, hairdressing, fashion design, painting, cold porcelain, stone carving, textiles, basic computer skills and data analysis.

The courses will be held at Sümerpark Shared Living Space and Göletli Park Course Centre. The course schedules, including dates and times, will be finalised after the application process is completed.

Certificates of participation to be issued

Participants who successfully complete the courses will receive a certificate of participation. Through the new courses, the Department of Social Services aims to help residents acquire vocational skills and support their participation in employment.
