A programme held in front of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality’s service building marked 1 May, Labour and Solidarity Day, with enthusiasm.

A celebration programme was held in front of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality’s service building to mark 1 May, Labour and Solidarity Day. At the event, where the spirit of labour and solidarity came to the fore, municipal workers came together in a gathering that reflected the meaning and significance of 1 May.

The programme was organised under the leadership of the Department of Human Resources and Training, the Union of All Municipal and Local Government Workers (TÜM BEL-SEN) and the General Services Workers’ Union of Türkiye (Genel-İş). It was attended by municipal workers and union representatives.

During the celebration programme, participants joined in halay dances accompanied by drums and zurna, sharing the enthusiasm of 1 May together.
