Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality has taken part in the ITB International Berlin Tourism Fair, one of the world’s most prestigious tourism and travel exhibitions.

The ITB International Berlin Tourism Fair opened at the Berlin Exhibition Centre. The Tourism Unit, under the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of the Metropolitan Municipality, is participating in the fair, which will run between 4–6 March, alongside Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DTSO), authorised agencies of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB), and sector representatives. The Diyarbakır delegation will hold meetings with industry professionals in Germany to promote the city’s rich cultural heritage and strengthen its position as a significant tourism destination in Europe and worldwide.

Throughout the fair, cooperation meetings will be held at the Diyarbakır stand with local stakeholders and sector representatives. During the three-day event, the city’s historical and cultural wealth will be showcased, highlighting Diyarbakır’s tourism potential on the international stage.
