Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun welcomed Stefano Fantaroni, Minister Counsellor and Head of the Political Section of the EU Delegation to Türkiye.

Stefano Fantaroni, Minister Counsellor and Head of the Political Section of the EU Delegation to Türkiye, together with Political Affairs Advisor Sema Kılıçer, visited Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun.

Following the reception, Co-Mayors Bucak and Hatun held a meeting with Fantaroni.

The meeting addressed strengthening cooperation opportunities between Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and the European Union in areas such as green transition, digital transformation and environmentally friendly transport projects, as well as the situation of local governments.

The Co-Mayors were accompanied during the visit by Murat AkbaÅŸ, Department of Strategic Planning and Projects, and municipal council members.
