Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun met with residents at a solidarity dinner organised by the DEM Party’s Diyarbakır Provincial Organisation.

The Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Diyarbakır Provincial Organisation held the event at a wedding hall in the city under the slogan “Together we are strong; together we will win.” The gathering was attended by Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun, alongside DEM Party Deputy Group Chair Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit, MPs, DEM Party Provincial Co-Chairs Gülşen Özer and Abbas Şahin, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Provincial Co-Chair Ruçem Vefa Elyakut, Metropolitan Municipal Council Co-Spokespersons Demet Ceylan and Ayhan Karatekin, district municipality co-mayors, representatives of political parties and civil society organisations, and local residents.

Speaking at the event, DEM Party Deputy Group Chair Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit shared her assessment of current developments.
