Co-Mayor of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, Serra Bucak, held an online meeting with officials from the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) and the Deputy Mayor of Cologne.

Co-Mayor Serra Bucak met via Zoom with Andreas Wolter, Deputy Mayor of Cologne; Herbert Schmalstieg, former Mayor of Hannover; officials from the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR); and representatives of the German Section (RGRE). During the meeting, current developments were discussed, and participants conveyed messages of solidarity with Co-Mayor Bucak.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on the upcoming CEMR summit, to be held on 9–10 December in Karlsruhe, Germany, where Co-Mayor Bucak will participate as a natural delegate.
