Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality brought pupils from the Zarokistan Nursery and Day Care Centre together with the theatre to support their social and cultural development.

The Department of Social Services organised a programme for children enrolled at the Zarokistan Nursery and Day Care Centre to engage with culture and the arts. As part of the programme, children were collected by shuttle from the Bağcılar Zarokistan Nursery and Day Care Centre, accompanied by their tutors, and taken to the theatre hall at the Çand Amed Culture and Congress Centre.

Children watched the play Keçelok

The children enjoyed a fun, educational and memorable experience watching the play Keçelok.

Involving the children in the performance, the cast of Keçelok also captured their attention with music and dance.

Written and directed by Celil Toksöz, with the Kurdish translation by Kawa Nemir, the play features performances by Rêzan Kaya, Elvan Koçer and Şîlan Alagöz, and tells the story of the triumph of gentleness, cleanliness and good-heartedness.
