Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality has opened free course registrations under DİSMEK to support the vocational, artistic and personal development of residents living in the city.
Delivered under the coordination of the Department of Social Services, the Diyarbakır Arts and Vocational Training Courses (DİSMEK) will offer training this term in stonework, hairdressing, skincare, woodworking, painting, music, handicrafts, textiles and fashion design. In addition, E-commerce and Basic Computer Skills courses will be offered for the first time this term.
The training will be delivered by specialist tutors, with the aim of helping participants gain practical skills and supporting their access to employment. Through the arts courses, the programme also aims to enable individuals to develop their talents and take part in production.
Places are limited. Applications can be submitted until 8 February. Training will take place at Sümerpark Course Centre and Göletlipark Course Centre.
