Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality visited children receiving treatment at the Paediatric Oncology Unit of Selahaddin Eyyübi State Hospital, presenting them with toys and hygiene supplies.

The Directorate of Press, Media and Public Relations carried out the visit to raise the morale of children undergoing cancer treatment at the hospital’s Paediatric Oncology Unit.

As part of the visit, child patients were given a range of toys and hygiene items.

The morale visit was attended by Permanent Council Member Mehmet Emin Ay, Head of the Directorate of Press, Media and Public Relations Berivan Güneş, and Head of the Public Relations Branch Bahar Soysal.

Also accompanying the visit were Haematology and Oncology Specialist Dr Nurettin Okur and Director of Health Care Services Hatice Koç. During the visit, families’ requests and suggestions were heard and forwarded to the relevant municipal units.

Families and children expressed their satisfaction with the visit and the support shown.
