Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Serra Bucak hosted a delegation of women working in the fields of women’s rights, ecology and law in India.

Nalini Nayak, Madhulika Tatigotla and Wekoweu Tsuha, who came to the city to attend the Newroz celebrations in Diyarbakır, visited Co-Mayor Serra Bucak.

Following the welcome, Co-Mayor Bucak held a meeting with the delegation.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on local government work as well as issues relating to ecology and law. The meeting also underlined the importance of strengthening international cooperation and solidarity.
