Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality is organising a series of online career talks for young people as part of the Today’s Youth, Future Professions Project.

Through its Digital Youth Centre (DİGEM), which operates under the Vocational Training Branch Directorate of the Department of Social Services, the Municipality will deliver training sessions on Data Analytics and Software Engineering within the scope of the Today’s Youth, Future Professions Project, funded by the European Union and carried out in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB).

The seminars aim to help young people gain insight into current and emerging professions, explore career opportunities and make more informed choices about their future careers.

First event to focus on Data Analytics

The first event in the series will focus on Data Analytics and will be held as part of the Villages of Tomorrow Project, implemented in cooperation between Trendyol and UNDP.

Emre Yüksel and Eray Kaşıkçı from Trendyol will take part in the event as speakers.

Second event to cover Software Engineering

The career talks will continue on 9 April with a session on Software Engineering. The seminar is intended to give young people a closer understanding of the software engineering field, introduce them to opportunities in the sector and support them in shaping their career plans more effectively.

The online session, to be held on Thursday 9 April between 5.00 pm and 6.00 pm, will feature Berkan Åžahan from Trendyol as the speaker. Those wishing to apply can register via:
