Ahead of the Ramadan Feast, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality has deposited 3,000 TL each onto the social support cards of 3,000 people in need.

The Department of Social Services provides a social support card service to assist citizens facing economic hardship. As part of this work, an online application system was made available for citizens in need of support. Following evaluations, social support cards were issued to 3,000 applicants who had applied through the online system. The support, set at 3,000 TL every three months, was deposited into the accounts of those in need before the Ramadan Feast.

To be extended to 10,000 people

Meanwhile, while the first stage prioritised 3,000 people, it is planned to prepare social support cards for 10,000 people within the year. Payments through the social support cards will continue to be made regularly every three months.
