Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality (DBB) Co-Mayor Serra Bucak met with the Amed–Zurich Friendship Bridge delegation and presented the planned Ecology Park project.

While in Switzerland for the United Nations Mayors Forum meeting, Co-Mayor Bucak held talks with the Amed–Zurich Friendship Bridge delegation.

In the meeting, Co-Mayor Bucak introduced the Ecology Park project that the Metropolitan Municipality plans to implement. She proposed cooperation on the project to the Zurich City Parliament.

‘The bridges we build are multiplying’

Emphasising that the bridges being built for a city that is nature-friendly, participatory and sustainable are multiplying, Co-Mayor Bucak said: “This friendship stretching from Amed to Zurich will be a harbinger of a flourishing, greener future.”
