Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun welcomed the members of Koma Amed with flowers ahead of the band’s first concert in the city after 30 years, entering the municipal building to songs.

Hosted by Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and Kayapınar Municipality, the members of Koma Amed proceeded to the Metropolitan Municipality following their welcome at the airport. In front of the municipal service building, they were received by Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun, DBB Council Members, Chief Executive Emrullah Gördük and Deputy Chief Executives. After an emotional welcome, the band members entered the Metropolitan Municipality together with the Co-Mayors to the accompaniment of songs and ululations.

The Co-Mayors held a meeting with the members of Koma Amed. They discussed the concert to be held in Newroz Park on 25 October. The band members expressed their happiness to be in Diyarbakır.

The Co-Mayors presented Koma Amed members with Amedspor shirts, while the band members gifted T-shirts bearing the band’s name to the Co-Mayors.

Koma Amed will perform at 18:00 on Saturday, 25 October, at Newroz Park in BaÄŸlar district.
