Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Doğan Hatun took part in a meeting organised by DİTAM (Dicle Social Research Centre) under the title “The Role of Law in Building Social Peace”.

The meeting, held at Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DTSO), was attended by Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Doğan Hatun, DEM Party Diyarbakır MP Serhat Eren, CHP Diyarbakır MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu, academics and residents.

At the meeting, which featured Prof. Dr Nilgün Toker, Assoc. Prof. Dr Dilan Mızrak and Dr Salim Orhan as speakers, discussions were held on what needs to be done in a peace process, how such a process should be approached, and which legal arrangements are required.
