Following a successful season, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Women’s Volleyball Team has been invited to compete in the First League due to the expansion in the number of teams.

Established under the Department of Youth and Sports Services, the Women’s Volleyball Team achieved 15 wins and 3 defeats in 18 matches last season, finishing in 3rd place, just two points behind the league leader.

In line with the Turkish Volleyball Federation’s decision to increase the number of teams in the First League, DBB Women’s Volleyball Team has officially been invited to join, thanks to its strong financial structure, youth development system and active sports branches.

The team’s opponents will be determined by the draw to be held on Wednesday, 20 August 2025, at 14:00.
