Co-Mayor of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, Serra Bucak, carried out inspections at the Zarokistan Nurseries and Day-care Centres, instructing that they be made ready for the upcoming academic year.
Co-Mayor Serra Bucak visited and inspected the Zarokistan Nursery and Day Care Centres in Bağcılar and 450 Evler, which operate under the Department of Social Services. Co-Mayor Bucak, who received information from the unit supervisors about the current status of the nurseries, then toured the classrooms, sleeping rooms, dining hall, infirmary, gymnasium, music room, conference hall, and children's play areas.
Nursery Facilities to Be Improved
Co-Mayor Bucak stated that the Zarokistan Nurseries and Day-care Centres were not in the same condition as they had been left in 2015, noting that they had been neglected and rendered non-functional. She explained that the unused sections of the nurseries would be reactivated and the gardens and play areas would be renewed. Bucak assigned the relevant units to address the deficiencies and ensure that the nurseries are fully prepared for the new academic year.
