Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality has provided social support payments to residents in need ahead of Eid al-Fitr. As part of the programme, TL 3,000 was deposited into the account of each of the 10,793 Social Support (SODES) Card holders.

Ahead of Eid al-Fitr, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality transferred social support payments to the accounts of residents in need. Under the scheme carried out by the Department of Social Services, financial assistance was provided to residents holding a Social Support (SODES) Card.

As part of efforts to strengthen solidarity and help residents in need meet their basic needs, payments for the March 2026 period were made to the accounts of SODES Card holders.

Accordingly, TL 3,000 was deposited into each of the 10,793 accounts. With these payments, the total amount of support reached TL 32,379,000.

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality will continue its social support efforts aimed at standing by residents facing economic hardship and strengthening social solidarity.
