European Union (EU) Delegation to Türkiye Chargé d’Affaires Jurgis Vilcinskas and a delegation of ambassadors from EU member states paid a courtesy visit to Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun.

The delegation, which came to Diyarbakır for a series of meetings, included the ambassadors of France, Austria, Portugal, Belgium, Ireland, Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden. The group visited Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality as part of its programme.

The EU delegation was welcomed at the municipality’s protocol entrance by Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun.

Following the welcome, the Co-Mayors and the delegation exchanged views on political, social, cultural and economic issues.

Council Co-Spokesperson Demet Ceylan and Chief Executive Emrullah Gördük accompanied the Co-Mayors during the visit.
