Co-Mayors of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun, hosted Suat Yıldız, Secretary General of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB), and Haşim Yücel, Deputy Mayor of Girne Municipality, who were attending the UCLG-MEWA meeting.

While the Joint Meeting of the Executive Bureau and Council of the United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA), hosted by the Metropolitan Municipality, continued with its sessions, Co-Mayors Serra Bucak and DoÄŸan Hatun held meetings with the visiting delegations.

The Co-Mayors separately welcomed Suat Yıldız, Secretary General of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB), and Haşim Yücel, Deputy Mayor of Girne Municipality, along with his delegation, who were attending the UCLG-MEWA meeting.

Following the meetings, the Co-Mayors presented a set of copper-engraved cups to Deputy Mayor Yücel, and a ceramic tilework to Yıldız; in return, Yücel presented a ceramic tilework to the Co-Mayors.

The meetings were also attended by UCLG-MEWA Secretary General Mehmet Duman, Metropolitan Municipality Chief Executive Emrullah Gördük, Deputy Chief Executive Zerin Türk, Council Members Demet Ceylan and Abdüsselam İnceören.
