Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality will accept applications for its new term language courses between 7 and 16 February.
As part of its education work supporting multilingualism and cultural diversity, the Department of Culture, Arts and Social Affairs is launching a new term of language courses. The courses will be offered free of charge and are aimed at adults aged 16 and over.
Courses to be opened this term include Kurmanji, Zazaki, Armenian, Syriac and Sorani. For Kurmanji, provision will be available from beginner level as well as A1, A2 and B1. Zazaki courses are planned at A1, A2 and B1 levels, while Armenian will be offered at A1 and A2, Syriac at A1, and the Sorani Workshop at A1 level.
Alongside the language courses, a Kurmanji Reading and Writing Workshop will also be organised for residents in the new term.
Applications for all free courses can be submitted online between 7 and 16 February via dismek.diyarbakir.bel.tr.
